The ADHD assessment fee is £1000 and includes:
Payment can be split into 3 instalments using PayPal Pay in 3.
Where medication is started, your consultant will prescribe during the initial titration period, usually lasting around three months until a stable dosage is reached.
Medication review appointments are typically held every four weeks and cost £175 per review, including the prescription.
Medication costs are separate and payable directly to the pharmacy.
Assessments are carried out by consultant psychiatrists or specialist GPs experienced in ADHD assessment and treatment.
Diagnosis is commonly completed within one assessment session, followed by up to three medication titration appointments where required.
Some NHS GPs agree to continue prescribing ADHD medication following a private diagnosis. This arrangement is known as a shared care agreement.
Your consultant will support the shared care process and provide the relevant clinical documentation. However, the final decision to prescribe remains with your GP practice.
Where shared care is not available, private ADHD medication costs are typically around £65 per month, although this may vary depending on the medication prescribed and the pharmacy used.
This cost is separate from assessment and review fees.
All clinicians working with The Therapy Company assess and diagnose in line with NICE and GMC standards.
Diagnostic reports are recognised by GPs and NHS services.
