For Clinicians

Think ADHD is a GP-led service streamlining the ADHD referral process.

As an NHS GP, I developed Think ADHD to professionalise and streamline the data collection process for ADHD screening.

My aim has been to simultaneously decrease both the number of consultations needed to comprehensively assess patients with ADHD-type symptoms and the proportion of referrals deemed inadequate by the mental health services.

Patients using Think ADHD can record their story at their own pace, and in their own time, without the pressure of short GP clinic appointment times.

Patients are given time to reflect and provide detailed information, with prompts to help support their history.

Once complete, the validated ASRS score and comprehensive patient symptom history report can then easily be sent back to you via email, dedicated text message service or in printed form.

Think ADHD is free and simple to implement. A standard operating procedure document, as well as suggested templates for Accurx/SMS messaging and your practice website, are included below.

We’ve had great feedback so far, both from doctors and patients.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on it – you can get in touch with me here. Alternatively you can leave feedback on our clinician feedback form. Your feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks and best wishes,
